NEWS ALERT: Green Amendment Rally February 26th

Tomorrow, Wednesday February 26th, students and leaders from around the country will gather in Lincoln to discuss the “Green Amendment” (LR22CA). The amendment seeks to hold policymakers accountable for the individual’s right to a “clean and healthy environment.” (For specific information about the bill, click here.)

For years this amendment has been worked on and refined for this proposal.

Here are two things you can do:

1. Submit an online testimony. For a step-by-step instruction of how to do so, click here. For an example of the testimony I’ve written, click here. This won’t take you more than 7 minutes.

2. Show up in Lincoln to support this bill. The event starts at 1:30. The schedule of the event is included below. If you are a student, fill out this form in order to be excused from class, as well as to fill out some other information such as transportation, t-shirt sizing, etc.

Consider helping this amendment be implemented into our State’s Constitution. Even an online testimony helps tremendously. Thank you.
